Raiden III 2.0

Raiden III is a modern reinvention of the classic vertical-scrolling shoot-’em-up, developed by Moss Ltd. Take command of the Raiden fighter and blast through waves of enemy aircraft, armored columns, and warships across multiple stages, each capped by intense, screen-filling boss encounters. The game blends clean 3D visuals with pure arcade sensibilities—tight controls, precise hit detection, and fast, fluid action that rewards skillful dodging and relentless offense.

Upgrade your ship to switch between staple weapon types—wide-area vulcan shots, piercing lasers, and a locking plasma stream—then augment your loadout with missiles and screen-clearing bombs. A risk-versus-reward scoring system encourages quick enemy takedowns and aggressive routes, while smart survival and timely item collection push high scores even higher.

Raiden III supports local two-player co-op, multiple difficulty settings, and an optional vertical (TATE) display for an authentic arcade feel. Whether you’re chasing leaderboards or just want a polished, straightforward shooter, Raiden III delivers a focused, satisfying return to one of the genre’s most storied series.
